LGBTQIA Resource Page
In November 2022 after two + years of discernment, learnings and conversations, Seventh Street Christian Church voted unanimously to become Open & Affirming. That means, we affirm and value all peoples of any sexual orientation or gender expressions at SSCC.
This work does not end with a "vote," but is a catalyst for continued education and support, both internally as Christians and in our community. At SSCC you will see people of all sexual orientations in leadership and we speak to it in our preaching. We also dedicate ourselves to create thoughtful educational opportunities, supporting local LGBTQIA initiatives, and standing alongside LGBTQIA siblings in the face of injustice.
The following page is dedicated to LGBTQIA resources that may be helpful to you or your family. If you know of additional resources or would like to partner with us, please email us using the button below.
