Children in Worship

Bring your kids! Don’t worry about the noise – they are WELCOME in Worship! There is designated family space, equipped with books, pillows and other engaging activities. The space also allows for extra room for strollers, bags, and ...children!
Children (ages 1-6) are invited to depart before the sermon, returning before communion with our children's worship coordinator. During this time, they will have their own age-appropriate lesson.

As the practice of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), SSCC observes weekly communion and everyone is welcome to the table. Taking the example of Jesus’ radical hospitality, we practice an open communion table – so no matter who you are, where you are from or where you are on your spiritual journey, you are invited to partake in communion.
