While our focus has been primarily on determining the next steps for our building, we realize the importance of maintaining a formal stewardship campaign for 2024 to ensure the financial stability of our church.

We understand the value of providing our congregation with the opportunity and guidance to support their church, and your pledges make a significant difference.

 

Exciting times lie ahead for Seventh Street Christian Church, and we earnestly pray that you will invest in our ministry and future. Here are some of the remarkable developments taking place within our community:

 

• We are actively charting a path towards a more sustainable future.

• Our welcoming environment is attracting an increasing number of visitors.

• We proudly serve as a safe haven for our LGBTQIA siblings.

• Three seminary students within our congregation are under care for ordination into Christian Ministry.

• Our Outreach budget is steadily growing, with the goal of reaching a 10% tithe, currently at 7% (up from 6.2% in 2023).

 

When it comes to our annual budget, 60% is supported by the faithful and visionary Saints of our past who contributed to funds now managed by the Trustees and Foundation. The SSCC Trustees contribute 26.6% to our annual budget, while the SSCC Foundation provides 33.4%. The remaining 40% comes from the generous gifts of our current congregation. It is vital that we receive support from all of you to secure our future. Your continued dedication means the world to us.
